I got out again yesterday in search of making a good picture in downtown Chicago. I do not know what it is about photographing in the loop but I can very rarely capture the feeling I get when I am there. Perhaps there are too many tourists or maybe I am just looking deeper than I actually should. I am pleased with a couple of the images I have made but I am not quite satisfied. They always leave me wanting more. I think next time I will try to hang out a little more in the financial district and see what kind of business folk I can get while they are talking on their phone and hailing a cab. Until then all I have is this woman and her purple hat from the corner of Madison Street and Wabash Avenue.
