The Kopecky Family Band Is My Number 3 Most Anticipated Performance at Lollapalooza 2012!
Why?
I experienced The Kopecky Family Band for the first time in March of last year opening up for some band I can’t even remember now. I can’t remember them because I was so entranced by this band from Nashville that I had forgotten they were the ‘opening act’ for the night. The complimentary duo of a male and female lead singer hasn’t been seen in quite some time. This six-piece band plays a merry-go-round of instruments switching throughout their sets. Everyone is smiling and energetic on the stage and it’s so easy to see how much fun they are having while playing some damn good music. Be ready to enjoy a gamut of instruments as the Family (not really a family) keeps you in the mood that only a summer festival can. Come sway with me and find a band you didn’t know you already loved. Good luck remembering whatever band you see after them. I still can’t.
