Number 5 of My Most Anticipated Performances of Lollapalooza 2012 is Dr. Dog

Dr. Dog is my number 5 most anticipated show of Lollapalooza 2012.

Why?

Dr. Dog has never let me down in a live performance and they never take a night off of anything. Whether it’s in their constant touring of solid shows after solid shows or putting out 7 full length albums in a little over ten years they are one of the more consistent bands out there. These Pennsylvania psychedelic rockers always bring it at the smaller venues they play and I am sure it will translate to the bigger stage at Lollapalooza flawlessly. Their catchy pop-like hooks will get their fans dancing and draw in a few new ones. The steady pounding of the drums by Eric Slick will draw everyone in until you realize you are clapping along with everyone else. Don’t even try to fight it, you will lose. I mean come on it is a festival and everyone knows that festivals will make ya clap more than a misogynistic Busta Rhymes song. Don’t miss out on Dr. Dog and enjoy part of your day listening to one of more reliable rock bands out there and I dare ya to try and not clap along but I encourage you to kick up a little dust and dance along.
