I am a freelance photographer in Chicago working with clients ranging from engaged couples preparing for their wedding day, timeout chicago, feeding america and other media outlets. I shoot everything from news and weddings to music and street photography.
My photography style has been described as industrial or raw - which I believe reflects my background in photojournalism.
I received my bachelor of science degree in photojournalism from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Upon graduation I became chief photographer at the Daily Mining Gazette in Houghton, Michigan. After three years at this position I decided to pursue a life in freelance photography and moved to Chicago.
I have photographed more than 80 weddings in the Chicagoland area in addition to domestic and international travel for destination weddings.
